Our lead hardware founder is already driving zTiles's physical product work. We're hiring hardware engineers to collaborate on real builds - not to replace that leadership, but to add capacity across electronics, PCB design, mechanical enclosures, firmware, prototyping, and bring-up.
You'll work closely with the existing hardware lead on end-to-end product development: from early schematics and board spins through enclosure design, firmware integration, lab validation, and coordination with outsourced manufacturers. Manufacturing and scale production are outsourced initially - the in-house team owns design, prototyping, and technical decisions.
We want a detailed picture of your hands-on hardware background. The strongest applicants show concrete work: boards you've designed, products you've prototyped, firmware repos, CAD/mechanical files, test setups, or shipped devices. Depth across every hardware discipline isn't required - but the more areas you've worked in, the better.
Degrees are not required. We care about what you've built, how you debug problems, and what you can contribute on day one - not formal credentials.
Apply to join the hardware team. Share links to PCB work, CAD/mechanical designs, firmware repos, or other projects - especially areas where you have the most depth.
