Hardware Engineer

Our lead hardware founder is already building zTiles's physical products and needs hardware engineers to collaborate hands-on. This is a detailed-application role: we want to understand your real project work - schematics, boards you've laid out, enclosures you've designed, firmware you've shipped, and how you debug in the lab. Degrees are not required. Manufacturing is outsourced initially; we care about what you can build, test, and iterate.

What We're Looking For:

•Demonstrated hands-on work - personal projects, prototypes, or shipped hardware count most
•Electronics: schematic design, component selection, and circuit debugging
•PCB: layout, fab/assembly coordination, rework, and board bring-up
•Firmware: embedded systems, microcontrollers, and hardware/software integration
•Mechanical: enclosure design, CAD, DFM, and fit/finish for physical products
•Lab skills: oscilloscope/debug, validation, failure analysis, and test planning
•Comfort coordinating with outsourced CM/PCBA partners (or clear willingness to learn)
•Depth in any combination of power, RF, sensors, thermal, or other specialized domains
•Formal degrees are optional - portfolio, repos, and project detail matter more
